ALEN A. MATO
Owner, Operations Manager, and Mt. Kilimanjaro Guide
Alen is native to Tanzania, having growing up at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, made him develop the interest of climbing mountain as he were surrounded by his brothers, uncles, siblings and relatives who were involved in mountain climbing as a guides.
During vacation in 2010 he made his first attempt to climb a mountain after pleading with his father and uncle to let him climb. He climbed through Marangu route despite the fact that he had the passion of summiting to the top but he didn’t get the opportunity.
After graduating lately 2011 he managed to climb as a personal porter were he succeed to make it to the top. Despite being the operation manager, Alen is working as a mountain guide with an experience of more than 8years guiding as assistant and head guide.
He is looking forward to guide you on your first or next adventure.
ANTHONY MATO
Safari guide
He is a father to Alen, the owner and operation manager at Kilibeauty Discovery.
He has been a tour guide and driver for over 30 years working for companies both large and small. Tony and his son, Alen has been working together since the establishment of the company. He is very familiar with all the National Parks in Tanzania since he has already guided in all of them many times.
He has a deep and abiding love and understanding of the animals and the people of Tanzania. He loves meeting new people and sharing Tanzania’s beauty and diversity with them. Nothing brings him more personal satisfaction than seeing the joy on guests’ faces as they see and experience something amazing.
For the wildlife safari lovers, he is ready to guide you and show you the beautiful part of the country.
RAYMOND MTUI
Chief/Head Guide
Raymond is a Tanzanian native, born and raised at Marangu village. He has over 25 years of experience in tourism as a mountain guide. He has already led more than 350 trips to Kili via different routes and reached the top more than 300 times with clients.
He attended an extensive training program on mountain guides at Mount Meru Tour Guide School and he is holding a Full route mountain guide license.
Also, he attended a Mountain First Aid Program which was conducted in Arusha under the college of Wildlife Management- Mweka.
He is charming, self-motivated and enjoys his work, and loves sharing his plethora of knowledge and love of nature with all his guests. He is ready to discover the beauty of nature with you
FREDRICK CHODA
Mountain Guide
Fredrick Choda (famously as known as Choda) is native of Tanzania, born and raised in Dodoma region but later shifted to Arusha.
He has over 7 years of experience as a mountain guide.
He attended his mountain guide course at Mweka Wildlife College and after his great theory and practical performance he was awarded a Full route Mountain Guide License.
Choda is very charming person and has a great sense of humor and a plethora of knowledge about Mt. Kilimanjaro, and he looks forward to sharing it with you.
DISMAS S. MTUI
Mountain Guide
Dismas is a native of Tanzania, born and raised at Marangu village around the slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro. He has over 20 years of experience of leading expeditions as a mountain guide.
He attended his mountain guide training course at Marangu under Kilimanjaro National Park Authority (KINAPA) and was awarded a Full route Mountain Guide License.
Choda is a very charming person and has a great sense of humor and a plethora of knowledge about Mt. Kilimanjaro, and he looks forward to sharing it with you
SIMON EUGEN & BARICK MTUI
Mountain chef
Simon (on left) and Barick, (on right-hand side) famously as known as Stomach Engineers are natives of Tanzania, born and raised in the Kilimanjaro region around the slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro.
They are a professional mountain chef with experience working with both large and small companies as a chef. On the mountain, they prepare fresh food from scratch and is catered to altitude.
They are able to make food for all kinds of diets like vegetarian, vegans, gluten-free, halal, and any kind of religious restriction.
They are looking forward to sharing with you our delicious mountain meals to make your trek easy and enjoyable
