Northern safari Itinerary: 9days Ultimate photographic Safari.
Highlights
Photographic safaris is the most interesting shots which is taken by hand held equipment. The shots are taken by high resolution digital cameras which give high quality images, also the advantage of using digital cameras is that, it gives you the instant feedback and adjustments can be made while in the field and result to good image of you interest.
Day 1: Arrive Arusha
On arrival into Kilimanjaro International airport (KIA) or after descends from mountain, you will be greeted and transferred by our friendly guides/drivers to a nearby hotel to rest and relax after the long international flight. Enjoying a leisurely dinner, notice the sounds and smells of Africa all around you.
Day 2/3: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast depart Arusha with your guide, who will be your constant companion throughout your safari, for Tarangire National Park. Spend the next two days in the park observing game such as elephant, wildebeest, zebra and buffalo as they journey back and forth to the Tarangire River, an important source of water in the area.
Day 4/6: Serengeti National Park
Enjoy a half-day drive across Tanzania’s heartland, passing red-robed Maasai herding their cattle as well as the Olduvai Gorge, where the oldest hominid fossil was discovered, along the way. Arrive at the famous Serengeti National Park in time for an afternoon game drive, enjoying the blaze orange sunset as you head to camp. Spend the next two full days rising early to catch the wildlife in peak activity during the early morning hours. After time to relax in the afternoon, journey out as the sun starts to set for an afternoon game drive. Swap stories with fellow safari-goers in camp over hearty dinners and fall asleep to the sounds of African bush all around you.
Day 7: Ngorongoro
The drive to the gorge is breathtaking – passing through a spectacular mix of savannah grassland and volcanic hills, where red robed Maasai graze their cattle, before it drops steeply down into the gorge itself. Olduvai is one of the world’s most important paleoanthropological locations.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater
Today you’ll experience firsthand what has been called “one of the 7 natural wonders of the world.” The crater is home to an amazing concentration and diversity of wildlife, perhaps most importantly the rare black rhinoceros. Drive down the steep walls of the crater, arriving at the crater floor in time for lunch, viewing wildlife the whole time.
Day 9: Departure:
After breakfast drive to Moshi, stopping at local markets and the popular Meserani Snake Park along the way. Purchase final gifts, take your last photos and remember fondly what an amazing safari you’ve just had in Africa. Also if you have time it will be best chance for you to have a town tour and get a chance to visit the house of special need groups nearby with which we share a certain percent of what we earn.
